No. An alarm warns you once something has happened. Moradai continuously generates the proof that this property is your home. Although it includes intrusion detection, our mission is the legal certification of your home.
For any type of home, primary or second, since both have the same legal protection. What matters is that it is in private use, even if only occasionally.
A camera records footage to watch over a place. That footage can be manipulated, and without being able to enter the home, as in an occupation, the police cannot verify that it was filmed inside. El Testigo® geolocates, identifies biometrically and seals the evidence within a legal framework such as the electronic signature.
Once a day it identifies one of the registered adult residents, with the date, time and device location. It does not record continuous video or audio inside the home.
It depends on your plan: between 1 and 5 adult family members. Under the GDPR, minors' biometric data cannot be collected.
Yes. Each home needs its own device, but you manage them all from the same account.
You can unlink the device and move it to another property with the “I’m moving” option in the app. A new home is a new residence.
Biometric data is inaccessible to anyone and never leaves the device. It is deleted completely as soon as you cancel from the app.
The record history lives outside the device, so it is never lost. The biometric data is destroyed for security.
Proof-of-residence records are sealed and stored with EADTrust, a trust service provider belonging to the law firm Garrigues.
The memory is unreadable and inaccessible from outside, so your biometric data is safe. The evidence history lives with the trust service provider, so you lose nothing.
No. Every record is sealed with a timestamp and a chained hash, so any change would break the chain and be detectable.
The device runs on a rechargeable battery. If the power goes out, the built-in SIM keeps intrusion alerts working. To record the daily proof, however, a wifi connection is needed.

Yes. Moradai complies with the GDPR and has carried out a favourable DPIA, as the regulation requires. Processing is limited to registered residents and to proving residence.

Depending on the option you choose, you can pay yearly or monthly. Paying yearly is always cheaper, with a considerable saving over the year.
No. Unlike alarms, we are completely transparent about the price. It does not depend on or vary with the type of home.
Whenever you choose to pay yearly, El Testigo® is included at no cost. On monthly billing the device is paid separately, in a single payment.
Yes, any time from the app. The change applies from your next billing cycle.
For just €2 more per month, Total also includes insurance that gives you a specialist lawyer 24/7, guided assistance in case of occupation, expense cover and civil liability insurance, among others (see conditions).
Yes. Only the monthly plans have a minimum term, of 4 months, compared with the 2 years of some alarms. Cancel from the app and keep access to your certificate until the end of the period you paid for.
