Some of our friends call us crazy because we have been obsessed with one topic… squatting.

Why?

Well, let us tell you a story.

In 2022, we started a technology company. We were in a tiny room, barely fitting inside.

Just like Google started in a garage, we started in a tiny, closed-off room (which, honestly, was better not to enter by the end of the day).

We were obsessed with changing people’s lives.

We kept coming up with ideas, but we never liked any of them. Until Evelyn’s story came along.

We won’t go into the details of her story, but Evelyn had to travel to France to bury her husband.

When she returned, squatters had taken over her apartment, and the ownership of the property had been changed.

A property worth 3 million euros that she would never get back.

We were able to speak with her, and she was devastated by the situation.

That’s why we got to work.

We discovered that it was a real problem—16,765 cases of squatting in 2022, of which 3,347 were in primary and secondary residences.

We barely slept, and when we did, we dreamed about the best way to solve this…

…and we found the solution.

We surrounded ourselves with the best professionals to validate our idea.

Judges, police, and lawyers said it was the “holy grail” to evict squatters easily.

And that’s how Moradai was born.
